he soil of Pennsylvania is another
one of its most valuable natural
resources.Our state contains someof
the richest soils in the United States. This
limestone soil canbe found in thePiedmont
region. Sandy soils are located in the
Atlantic Coastal Plain and the Lake Erie
Plain. The river valleys are coveredwith rich
river deposits of soil causedby flooding. Soil
is a renewable natural resource.
