Physical Features of Central America
ACTIVITY:
A second helicopter flight over Central Americawill help us better appreciate the region’smountains,
humid tropical rain forests, and other physical features. We will begin our trip in Mexico’s Yucatan
Peninsula, and then fly southward through each country inCentral America. Beforewe begin our trip,
wewill each need to do some research and prepare amap of the physical featureswewill be seeing
from our helicopter.
Letters and numbers have been used as symbols to identify themajor landforms andwaterforms
listed below. A) Use the symbols to find each location on the map on the next page and label them.
